Our teachers are unexceptionable with great experience!
- LATIN AMERICAN DANCES DEPARTMENT
Head teacher of our school is Diana Athanasova who has a long experience as
she has taught Latin American dance in many countries.
Diana is unique when it comes to her teaching and besides Salsa Cubana she
teaches Son, Danzon, Bolero, Rumba, Afro, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Cha-cha-
cha, Sucu Suco, Regaetton and Mambo.
She began to study music and dance at a very young age,
she studied with excellent Cuban musicians and dance
teachers. Her love for the music and dance of Latin
America, and especially Cuba, drove her to countless
hours of practice and study.
She has great experiance as she worked in various
countries as a choreographer, head of dance groups and
a dance teacher. From 2005 she has been the Artistic
Director of Caliente Dance Studio.
She has created the school syllabus and has supervised the production of all the
educational DVD’s produced by the school. In March 2009, the new Instructor
supervision.
Her impressive ability to impart her knowledge, as well as the vast spectrum and
deep quality of this knowledge not only concerning the dances she teaches but
also the music and cultural background in which this music has been created and
by which it was formed, have established her internationally and she is now
recognized as the cream of European Cuban Salsa teachers.
