Since its inception, Caliente has changed the salsa scene by presenting Salsa
Cubana for the first time in Cyprus. Since then, hundreds of students have
experienced the Cuban salsa rhythms, establishing Caliente as the only reliable
dance school of its kind in Cyprus. The quality that our school offers is generally
recognized, however, we do not complacent and we aim even higher.
Recently we have announced that the head instructor of our school, Diana
Atanasova (recognized as one of the top-ranking teachers of European Cuban
Salsa) was recently in Cuba and has achieved important agreements and activities:

OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF OUR SCHOOL
The teaching syllabus of our school is recognized and adopted by the National
Dance Institute of Cuba. This means that the diplomas awarded by our school are
recognized by the National Dance Institute of Cuba.
Within this context the Head Instructor of the Cuban National Dance Institute is now
with us in Cyprus. He will teach in all Caliente groups and he will also teach in
Seminars.

We have been working seriously on this project for more than 5 years, not just
because we have the true knowledge but also because the true and organized
development of Cuban salsa around the world has always been one of our main
goals.
Currently our syllabus (for all levels) is complete and most importantly approved by
the National Dance Institute of Cuba. Soon we will also complete the dvd’s for
students and teachers. All the above enable us to begin the global distribution of
the Caliente Syllabus.
With the beginning of the distribution, every qualified Cuban salsa instructor will be
able to become a member of the Caliente project and enter into a network that will
provide ongoing support and training and official recognition from Cuba. For this
reason we have also upgraded the existing training program for instructors and
which has been in continuous operation.
